Chilean Sea Bass

Chilean Sea Bass prepared in a mushroom and white wine sauce. Do I need to say more? Yes. The herbs used: marjoram and thyme. My favorite. Fresh and light, this meal was prepared by Elizabeth after a long trip home from back East. What a friend.

Wine: New Zealand, Marlborough, Sauvignon Blanc; switched to Fisheye Pinot when S.B. bottle was empty

Sausage Perfection

Chipotle sausage, roasted onions, salad tossed with homemade vinaigrette and avocado, conversation between friends. What more could you ask for? Life is beautiful.

New Fried Chicken

Who can resist fried chicken? And healthy fried chicken? Delicious. Oven-baked, flavorful, moist, served with an outstanding arugula salad. Salad was lemony, slightly bitter, included Parmesan cheese.

Conversation: geography of Africa, Mongol ethnic traits, the possibility that Gary is Jewish, Elizabeth's obvious Caucasian background, Joseph's obvious relation to Mongols like Autumn, friends, family, Gary's home brew, Governor Sassy Pants (tortoise) being so ravenous he devours a lot of Kale in one sitting
